It was Thursday, September 6 early in the afternoon when a concerned community member was walking down Philadelphia St near its intersection with Towne, when she saw a police disturbance. The police were abusing a man who was shouting for bystanders to call 911. Numerous police cars were on the scene. The man was obviously in pain, and some people at the nearby businesses, including the barber shop, stepped outside to witness and record the incident. The man was forced into a police car and taken away.
Cops can shoot who- and what-ever they want, but if you dare to fight back when they are attacking you, then it's "assault on an officer" and the whole laundry list of charges. Here's a link:
I remember this incident from a few years back. A couple of guys tried to rob a pizzeria down in Chino, and when the pigs came in, they shot 23-year-old Daniel Balandran and killed him. Chino PD, like the rest of the cops around here, just think any young man of color is a "criminal" by default, and, placing no value on the lives of people of color, just open fire without even thinking twice. Well, now, the people being accused of robbery are finally going to trial, but what is outrageous here is that they are being charged with the murder the cop committed!
Went to see these compas at a show last night in Santa Ana. They were raising funds for their comrade Victor Hugo, who was captured by the ICE back on June 10. If you want to help, or just find out more about the case, you can do so by visiting this website: https://www.wepay.com/donations/2451
Here is a badass track they played last night that I want to share with you, our faithful readers and supporters. FTP!
