CHP shoots and kills David Mulder, 43, in Fontana

They're accusing this brother of killing someone. They're also saying that he was released as part of the statewide "realignment" of incarcerated people--part of the slander campaign against the criminalized population. We'll see what else develops in this case, but for now, we're remaining very skeptical about anything that comes out of the cops' mouths--especially Fontana PD.

Here's a few articles I was able to turn up:

The Chris Dorner saga continues...

rQRo's picture

We have been following the Christopher Dorner case since it began, not only because of our interest in police issues, but of course, because Chris met his tragic end here in our community. Most of the coverage in the local papers has been simple glorification of the two officers that died during the conflict--hagiographic obituaries, sprawling features on their funerals, articles about local businesses "pulling together" and donating for the officers' families and even for hotel rooms for cops attending the funerals.

Last Pomona PD victim identified: John Arganda, 43

rQRo's picture

It took more than a week, but the name of the last brother murdered by Pomona PD has been "released." Eventually, things come to light--they just get there much faster when the community organizes and pushes for it.

And while article comments usually must be taken with a grain of salt, it's worth republishing this comment that appeared at the foot of this article:

This happened at our friends rental property. Mom called the police to calm down her 35 yr old drunk son, and ended up watching her son geting shot to death in front of her.

April 14 rally for Justice for Andy Avila

rQRo's picture

Just FYI and wanted to tell all our readers and supporters that the Justice 4 Andy Avila Committee reached out to invite us to their next rally for justice for Andy. He was murdered by Pomona Police a little more than a year ago and still the family has no justice. Let's make this a big one!

Hi, we will be holding a demonstration in Pomona against police brutality for Andy Avila on April 14 at the intersection of Holt and Garey. We will be there from 1-4pm. We will march to police station at 3pm. I hope you will be able to join us. Thank you!
